Lansford Alive is giving away another $1,000 in cash prizes in front of the mini-mall at 1 p.m. Saturday. Five cash prizes will be handed out: one $500 prize, one $250 prize, two $100 prizes, and one $50 prize. Customers who make a purchase at any of the participating Lansford businesses will automatically be entered.

The goal is to encourage and reward shoppers who support local businesses. A purchase is not necessary in order to enter, however. One free ticket can be claimed at Master Barbers, 28 W. Ridge St. in Lansford.The ticket holder must be present to win. Previous events have been successful, attracting a large number of participants.
