Palmerton Police Department continues to investigate the following incidents:

Possession of drug paraphernaliaCriminal charges were filed against Nicholas Sickonic, 21, of 205 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, for two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred at 7:20 p.m. Oct. 27 at Lehigh Avenue and Second Street.ForgeryCriminal charges were filed against Marina Vasilyeva, 57, of 93 Chestnut Lane, Jim Thorpe, for forgery, tampering with records or identification, identity theft and theft by deception. The incident occurred on July 1, 2013, in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue. Criminal charges were also filed against Vasilyeva for forgery, tampering with records or identification, and identity theft on Nov. 10 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.DUICriminal charges were filed against Robert Rice, 55, of 305 Hill Road, Palmerton, for DUI and careless driving. The incident occurred at 10:58 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 700 block of Delaware Avenue.HarassmentSharon Frohnheiser, 56, and Amy Frohnheiser, 37, both of 256 Avenue A, Palmerton, were cited for harassment. The violations occurred at 1:42 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the above address.Disorderly conductCitations for disorderly conduct were filed against a 17-year-old Palmerton male; Matthew Bertalan, 20, of 460 Sand Quarry Road, Palmerton; and Timothy Schaub, 35, of 244 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton. The violations occurred at 3:36 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 200 block of Avenue A.Retail theftWilber Fountain, 38, of 771 W. Edgemont Ave., Palmerton, was cited for retail theft. The violation occurred at 1:08 p.m. Oct. 26 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.OtherPalmerton Police also issued seven citations for vehicle violations; four citations for traffic violations; and three citations for speeding.
