James Swinney, a senior at Northern Lehigh High School, is helping to organize a gathering to remember Crystal T. Schaller, the teen killed in a crash Tuesday afternoon on Mountain Road in Washington Township.

The candlelight vigil will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Covered Bridge for Crystal T. Schaller.

The car Schaller was driving struck a utility pole and rolled over about one-half mile west of Rextown Road, according to the coroner's office.

Swinney explained the purpose behind the candlelight ceremony is to get everyone together to celebrate Schaller's life.

"It's to let everybody give their peace," Swinney said. "A lot of people are coming."

Swinney said a bonfire may be held in honor of Schaller.
