A 15-year-old male juvenile is a suspect in the theft of money from a donation jar.

State police at Fern Ridge said the teen took $120 from a donation jar that was placed at 971 River St., East Side Borough, Carbon County, by a 26-year-old female. Troopers said the victim was collecting money for a local charity. The incident occurred on Monday, sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.The investigation is continuing, troopers added.
