John Costlow has been named president and CEO of Sustainable Energy Fund, responsible for the vision, leadership and overall management of the organization.

For the past six years, John has been the director of technical services, managing ongoing operations including program development, strategic planning, information systems, administrative systems, metrics and reporting structure. Sustainable Energy Fund has been a leading funder of sustainable energy projects in Pennsylvania since 1999, when it was founded through a settlement approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission during the Commonwealth's electric deregulation proceedings.Costlow has played an integral role in Sustainable Energy Fund's finance, education and regulatory efforts. Since he joined the organization, Sustainable Energy Fund has financed millions in sustainable energy projects including a portion of Pennsylvania's largest solar array, a micro-hydro system to remediate acid mine drainage and an LED lighting retrofit at the Harrisburg Airport.
