The High Energy Group of Meed's United Methodist Church recently performed "Happy" by Pharrell Williams, and showed off their self-made tie-dyed shirts and headbands. During the performance, they joined church choir members and harmonized to the song, "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me. The group dedicated its performance in memory of the late David Malkin, a former teacher and coach in the Jim Thorpe Area School District. His granddaughters were part of the performance, with granddaughter Kiley Boswell singing "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. "Mr. Malkin has been such an outstanding inspiration to countless people in our community," said High Energy director Tara Gilbert Cellini. High Energy offers free dance,
