Panther Valley opened its volleyball season Saturday with a victory over Weatherly.

In the afternoon, they swept both sets against Liberty, while splitting with Whitehall and Bethlehem Catholic.Abby O'Donnell led the way for Marian with 68 assists, seven kills and nine digs, Emily Pilla followed with 13 kills, eight assists, six aces and 33 digs, with Abigail Stankiewicz recording 24 kills and three blocks.
