A Schuylkill County driver was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:05 p.m. on Saturday along Grist Mill Road in West Brunswick Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Ian J. Smille, 26, of Orwigsburg, was driving a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on a wet roadway when the vehicle traveled about 21 feet along the berm before the right front bumper struck a tree.After impact the car rolled onto the driver's side and then its roof, traveling an additional 10 feet before coming to rest on its roof facing southwest and blocking both lanes of travel.Smille was injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian Street in Pottsville, by Orwigsburg ambulance. The vehicle had to be towed.Troopers said Smille was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
