Toddler struck by car dies

A 21-month-old girl died Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle outside her home in Washington Township, Lehigh County.

Lehigh County Coroner Scott M. Grim said Farrah Munoz died of multiple blunt-force injuries.State police at Bethlehem said the girl was struck in front of her home at 4241 Mountain Road by a 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport utility vehicle driven by Daniel L. Watt, 33, of Germansville.Munoz was flown to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, following the 3:35 p.m. incident. She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 4:55 p.m., Grim said.Grim ruled the death an accident.Troopers did not provide any other details of the incident pending completion of their investigation.
