Schuylkill ARD admissions

Schuylkill County President Judge William P. Baldwin has allowed 11 people to enter the accelerated rehabilitative disposition program. If they successfully complete the program, for first-time offenders, and stay out of trouble, their records will be cleared.

All must pay $350 to offset the cost of the program, and are subject to court costs and fees.James Felmey Jr., 41, of Swedesboro, New Jersey: Charged by Rush Township police with possession of a small amount of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Oct. 22, 2013. He was placed in ARD for 12 months.John Buckingham, 23, of Tamaqua: Charged by Rush Township police with possession of a small amount of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Oct. 7, 2013. He was placed in ARD for 12 months.Patricia Merola, 27, of Hazle Township: Charged by Tamaqua police with conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance on Sept. 4, 2013. She was placed in ARD for 24 months.Jeanette Hadesty, 23, of Mahanoy City: Charged by Coaldale police with possession of a controlled substance on Sept. 20, 2013. She was placed in ARD for 12 months.Five people were accepted into the ARD program for driving under the influence. They must pay $500 to offset the cost of the program, pay court costs and fees, and successfully complete the Alcohol Highway Safety School.Albert Patrick Jr., 59, of New Ringgold: Charged by West Penn Township police with driving under the influence on Aug. 17, 2013. He was placed in ARD for 12 months, and lose his license for 30 days.Andrew Moll, 23, of Jim Thorpe: Charged by Coaldale police with driving under the influence and failing to comply with lighting requirements on Aug. 4, 2013. He was placed in ARD for 12 months, and lose his license for 60 days.Jeffrey Hartz, 20, of Tamaqua: Charged by West Penn Township police with driving under the influence on Sept. 14, 2013. He was placed in ARD for 12 months, and lose his license for 90 days.Angelo Brito, 24, of Hazleton: Charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, failing to obey traffic control devices, and careless driving on April 20, 2013. He was placed in ARD for 12 months, and lose his license for 60 days.Brian Fetterman, 24, of New Ringgold: Charged by West Penn Township police with driving under the influence and failing to obey traffic control devices on June 4, 2013. He was placed in ARD for 12 months, and lose his license for 60 days.
