The driver of a sport utility vehicle escaped serious injury Saturday morning when involved in a crash along White Bear Drive in Summit Hill.
The crash occurred at 7:15 a.m. as the male operator was traveling east and left the right berm.
The unit impacted with and snapped off a utility pole continuing down a slight embankment traveling through the brush before striking a tree head-on and coming to rest.
The Diligent Fire Company responded with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene.
Summit Hill police are investigating the incident.
