An event long to be remembered in the history of Gnaden Huetten Convalescent-Nursing Center took place.

The keys to the nursing home were turned over to the hospital administration by Robert Patierno of the Health Services Inc. of Johnston. The keys were accepted by Fred Manning, president of the board of directors, and Arthur Stout, hospital administrator.This signifies the completion and acceptance of the nursing home from the builders to the Gnaden Huetten officials.
