A Schuylkill County driver involved in a one-vehicle crash in which he was injured and his vehicle sustained severe damages, has been cited for driving under the influence.

State police at Frackville said Mark F. Lorent, 48, of Mahanoy City, was involved in a crash at 5:20 p.m. on July 14 along Route 924, at the Gilberton offramp in Gilberton.Following the crash, he was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street, Pottsville, for treatment of moderate injuries, troopers said.Charges were filed with the office of District Judge Christina E. Hale of Frackville.
