Blue Mountain Health System and the Palmerton Lions Club will co-sponsor a free community health fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Palmerton Hospital cafeteria.

The day will include several health assessments, health screenings, chair massages, and an opportunity to meet with representatives from the Blue Mountain Health System, as well as agencies from Carbon County and surrounding communities.Information and education on a variety of health-related topics and services will be available.Businesses have donated door prizes.A light lunch will be provided to all participants.Community members are encouraged to donate their used eyeglasses or hearing aids during this event. A box will be available to place them in at the registration table.
