Complaints about tractor-trailers rolling through Lansford during the wee hours of the morning, en route to and from an anthracite silt reclamation project near the Andrewsville section of town, are bringing action from Lansford police and Mayor Joseph Genits.
Genits said the stream of trucks begins passing through the borough at 1:30 a.m. on Patterson Street (Route 209) and the noise plus allegations of speeding are the root of the complaints.
