A Slatington woman has been charged with stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from her employer in New Jersey.

According to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor, Colleen Mahony-Sgro, 54, stole in excess of $500,000 from Bolton Construction, where she worked as the company's bookkeeper.Mahony-Sgro is charged with theft by deception and forgery, among other offenses.She posted the $500,000 bail, and was released, pending a first court appearance.
