The Carbon County Labor Chapter will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Democratic Information Center at 110 S. First St. in Lehighton.

Members of the Labor Chapter will interview Patti Borger, the Democratic candidate for state representative.An interview with Rep. Doyle Heffley will be scheduled at a later meeting with an endorsement planned for July.The second phase of the chapter's community service project at the historic Bunker Hill Cemetery in Weissport will also be discussed and planned.Current and retired labor union members and friends of labor are invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
