At least two people are in custody after an incident in Jim Thorpe early this evening. Police on the scene on Fourth Street on the east side of the borough, include Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Franklin Township, Summit Hill and Kidder Township.

According to scanner reports, a police car involved in a chase was involved in a crash on Route 209 between Jim Thorpe and Nesquehoning, just before 7 p.m.

Injuries are not known. It was not immediately clear whether the two incidents are related.

No other details were available at the scene.
