Jared Costenbader, 19, of Palmerton, was traveling west on Delaware Avenue in Palmerton at 12:28 p.m. Wednesday when he stopped to make a left-hand turn into a private parking lot and ran his 1997 Volkswagen Jetta into the back of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata owned by Lois Strohl, 62, of Palmerton. Costenbader was taken to Palmerton Hospital with a head injury. No charges have been filed. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Strohl's Towing for disabling damage.
