The annual St. Patrick's Day Tea was held Sunday evening in the auditorium of St. Jerome's Catholic Church, Tamaqua, sponsored by the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St., Jerome 1143. There were 75 persons in attendance.

The auditorium was decorated with an Irish motif, as shamrocks, green hats, and cutouts of typical Irish people ornamented the walls. The tea table has a centerpiece of green carnations, greens and ornamental St. Patrick's Day figurines.
