The 10th annual Lehighton Community book swap will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 28 at the Lehighton Middle School.

Students can make book donations in their classroom for credit exchange at the event.Adults may make book donations ahead of time for credit exchange Tuesday and Thursday, March 25 and 27, from 6-7 p.m. at the Lehighton Area Middle School.A total of $800 worth of new books were purchased through monetary donations from teachers in the Lehighton Area School District and will be mixed in with the traded books.As with the previous book swaps, there will be a section of parent books as well.Everyone is welcome to take part.After 5:15 p.m., any books remaining untraded will be free to anyone regardless of the number of book credits.It has been estimated that more than 85,000 books have been traded in the first nine years of the event.For more information contact Ron Rabenold at
