Carbon Builders will offer electronics recycling at Expo

The Carbon County Home Garden & Business Expo will be held April 26 and 27 at Blue Mountain Ski Area.

Admission will be free with the donation of a nonperishable food item, which will be distributed at the end of the Expo to local area food banks.In celebration of Earth Day, an electronics recycling event will be available for the visitors through the Carbon Builders Association.The Carbon Builders said that Boy Scout Troop #102 of Gilbert will be assisting in the collection of the recycling materials.Last year the Expo collected 25,366 pounds of electronic waste.The Builders hope to exceed that amount this year. https://carboncountyexpo.com for details.The 2014 Carbon County Home Garden & Business Expo is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. the following day.Located at the Valley Lodge, the Expo will offer diverse and innovative displays. They include display trailers, ATVs, motorcycles, RVs, cars, trucks, outdoor cooking areas, gazebos and much more.The 2014 Expo will have wine sampling by SandCastle Winery and beer tasting by Red Castle Micro-Brewery.A Kid's Corner and the Kid's Clinic will be available for fun and activities.A grill cooking demonstration will be available with free food samples to the visitors.Visitors will take their expedition through the EXPO and visit the various businesses and have the chance to register to win various items.For questions or further information, call 610-379-1099.
