Family-owned and locally operated Koch's Turkey Farm will end the year-round operations of its Lewistown Valley retail store on March 31. The former retail space will be converted to administrative offices for the company's rapidly growing wholesale business.

Koch's Turkey management team will offer innovative retail locations during the holiday seasons to provide the community with Koch's products. In addition, Koch's continues to offer their products, year-round at the Hometown Farmer's Market, Tamaqua, and is continuously working on partnerships with regional grocery chains.The former retail store will be renovated into new corporate offices for the Koch's Turkey team, and construction is expected to be complete by August 2014. As part of the renovation, Koch's management will create an environmentally friendly and technologically efficient suite to improve collaboration and efficiency for all employees of Koch's Turkey Farm.
