A man has been taken to the burn unit at Lehigh Valley-Cedar Crest after his mobile home caught on fire.

Crews responded to the scene at Riverview Drive in Lehigh Township at 9:40 a.m. today.The man was at home and crews assisted him with getting him out of the home. The home, located on Route 145 between Kmart and Route 248, is a total loss. Fire companies included Slatington, Lehigh Township, Palmerton, Walnutport and Laurys Station.One firefighter sustained minor injuries.
