The Chestnuthill Township supervisors were asked by Lindsay Vaughn, a registered dietitian employed by Kinsley's ShopRite in Brodheadsville, "To help get information out there about good foods to help kids be healthy," said Chuck Gould, supervisor chairman.

In response the supervisors passed Resolution 2014-05 (3-0) which proclaims March to be National Nutrition Month in Chestnuthill Township.The proclamation states that the supervisors "encourage all citizens to join the campaign and become concerned about their nutrition and the nutrition of others in the hope of achieving optimum health for both today and tomorrow."
