State police at Fern Ridge reported on two burglaries investigated by troopers

Troopers said the residence of Dorothy Leyrer, 204 Westbrook Road, Sun Valley, Chestnuthill Township, was entered sometime between Jan. 1-9. Removed from the home were two flat screen televisions, a space heater, and various jewelry.The second incident occurred at Brodheadsville Chevrolet, located at 1476 Route 209, in Chestnuthill Township. A catalytic convertor was stolen from the service area of the business. It is valued at $889. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, and 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 9.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
