Swatara Street in Tamaqua, pictured here from two years ago, will once again be closed to traffic between Broad and Rowe Streets. The road closure will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, as Dirt Work Solutions works to complete a sewer main replacement project that began in 2012. The road will remain closed for approximately two weeks. In addition to Swatara Street, an 80-foot section of Rowe Street will be closed to facilitate bypass pumping.
