Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. 3rd St., begins at 9 a.m., includes blessing of the assembled prayer shawls and Service of Healing.
The Service of Healing with prayers and the "laying on of hands" is said for those with emotional, physical, spiritual burdens to help one's loads become lightened.
Guest pastor, the Rev. Diane Kareha, presides.
Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Prayer shawls are hand made, each stitch a spiritual practice. Prayer shawls wrap, comfort, shelter, beautify, and celebrate love. The shawls are available free of charge to people as a means of feeling the Lord's unconditional embrace.
First Tuesday quiet communion is observed July 1, at 10 a.m.
