Successful Blood Drive

Although Miller-Keystone Blood Center lowered its goal for the June 30 community blood drive from the usual 65 to 58, 72 faithful donors registered. Sixty units of blood were collected.

This visit was sponsored by Charles and Kathleen Behler, and Michael and Corene Musaga, in memory of Jean Behler.

The following donors reached gallon levels: Leon Techentin, 24 gallons; John Cebrosky, 18 gallons; Robert Hartman, 14 gallons; William Shook, 10 gallons; Robert Borgia and Lisa Hawk, 6 gallons; Tracey Carey, Rickey Kocher and Robert Stevenson, 5 gallons; Bent Green, 1 gallon. There were seven first-time donors.

The following volunteers helped make this drive a success: George Ashman, Mary Beth Beers, Romaine Biege, Harry Brown, Jane Cervenak, "Honey' Cyr, Marie Dombrosky, Thomasine Falcone, Linda Finley, Jean Fritzinger, Jean Halmi, Betty Hartman, "Bif" Hayes, Cindy Heimbach, Anastasia Hinkle, Marian Hoffner, Bernice Kleintop, Gerry Klotz, Nancy Kresge, Paula Lendvay, Shirley Neff, Helen Nonnemaker, Darlene Nothstein, Richard Nothstein, Susan Olivia, Carol Papay, Evelyn Plechavy, Marge Porambo, Gwen Rodrigues, Betty Steigerwalt, Susan Steigerwalt, Mary Taschler, Annette Wargo, Tara Wargo, and Brenda Wentz.

The next Miller-Keystone community drive will be on Thursday, Aug. 28.
