Officers installed at Tamaqua Lodge

Installation of officers services were held in October for the Patriarchs of Scott Encampment #132, Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the Brothers and Sisters of Lady Harmony Rebekah Lodge #86, both of Tamaqua.

The Scott Encampment #132 is entering its 153rd year of service to the Tamaqua area and is composed of Patriarchs from Harmony Lodge #86 of Tamaqua, East Brunswick Lodge #802 of New Ringgold, Tunkhannock Lodge #699, Mineral Lodge #285 of St. Clair and Rush Lodge #471 of Lawton.New officers include: Raymond R. "Bull" Boulanger Jr. of Hometown, chief patriarch; David R. "Bobby" Gallahar of Tamaqua, senior warden; Robert J. Leibensperger of Hometown, junior warden; Melissa Mangini of Hazle Township, high priest; Justin C. Bailey of Tamaqua, scribe; Tyler M. Arnold of Tamaqua, treasurer.Also installed were: Grady Slade, guide; Charles Bailey, Roy Turner, Sherman Wooden and Darrell Turner, watches; Donald Taylor and Paul Miller, sentinels; and Neil Thomas and James Sellers, guardians of the tent.James W. Sellers, Grand Patriarch of the Grand Encampment of Pennsylvania, made an official visit in honor of the occasion.The Lady Harmony Rebekah Lodge is one of the area's newest fraternal organizations, established four years ago.The officers for 2014 were installed by District Deputy President Charlene Grieb of Leesport. Officers include: Tyler M. Arnold, noble grand; Alisha Valedon of Coaldale, vice grand; Kate L.
