A young Slatington man died following a one-vehicle accident Friday night on Old Post Road in North Whitehall Township.

Zachary Alan Paules, 23, of 1305 Oakhurst Dr., was pronounced dead at the scene by Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Craig Hanzl at 11:38 p.m.Paules died from blunt force injuries, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's office.State Police at Bethlehem barracks are investigating.The accident happened at about 10:36 p.m. at the intersetion of Route 329 westbound and Crest Street in North Whitehall Township.According to state police, the SUV that Paules was driving rolled over and struck a tree.Paules was a 2008 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School.The accident resulted in a section of Old Post Road being closed for about four hours.
