Dr. Susan M. Featro, a teacher in the Tamaqua Area School District, will perform a concert of holiday music on Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, 125 Pine St., in Tamaqua. The concert is a benefit for the Tamaqua Community Arts Center and the Tamaqua Blue Raider Foundation, which funds special projects in the Tamaqua Area School District. Featro is excited to perform her second holiday concert as a benefit for the Tamaqua Blue Raider Foundation, as she is a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School. She is also excited to support the arts in the community where she lives.

Featro has released one CD, titled "Voice Lifted."The Dec. 15 performance will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will feature her playing the piano and guitar while singing a full program of familiar carols and special holidays pieces.
