Members of the Class of 1953 of the former Summit Hill High School held their 60-year reunion on Sept. 7 at LaDolce Casa, Tamaqua. Twenty-five class members were in attendance. The class had 62 graduates, 25 of which are deceased. Class members attending included Mabel Ziegler, front; first row, from left, Kathleen Evans, Louise Snoha, Ann Marie Heffelfinger, Mary Adams, Barbara DiMattia, Patricia Matika and Elnora Clay; second row, John Bonetsky, Jenny Snyder, Joan Kriebel, Dolores Zuber, Joan Orsulak, Marguerite Rhoades, Faye Matyascik and John Sommers; and back, Harold Reigel, Francis Peltz, Richard Brobst, Eugene Szczecina, Kenneth Garrett, Edward Kruczek and Stanley Zuber.
