Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, will hold Reformation Sunday service 9 a.m. The service includes Holy Communion. (The actual Reformation Day is Oct. 31). The theme: the grace of God through Jesus Christ unites us through our baptisms. Interim pastor, the Rev. Don Hayn, will preside. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.Sunday School classes meet at 10:15 a.m. for ages 3 through grade 12.Next is Sunday's All Saints worship, a time for remembering and giving thanks for the members of Trinity who have died in the past year.Everyone is invited to bring photos of loved ones who have died to be displayed and remembered on a table in the chancel before Nov. 3. Anyone bringing photos is asked to label your name on the back of the photo, and to identify the loved one's name on the front of the photo. This will serve as a visual reminder of the saints in our lives who have enriched loved ones with love, faith, or care. Photos may be picked up following the Nov. 3 worship service.Looking ahead to Friday, Nov. 15, is a Pork and Sauerkraut dinner to benefit one of Trinity's members fighting the effects of late stage breast cancer and struggling with medical bills.
