A woman was injured yesterday afternoon during a two-vehicle accident that occurred near the intersection of Ye Old Hauto Road on the Hometown Hill (SR309) in Rush Township. Both lanes of SR309 were closed and traffic backed up for about a mile during the incident, which involved a black Jeep Liberty and a gray Chevy sedan. Responding were firefighters, police and fire police from Tamaqua and Hometown, as well as Tamaqua Ambulance. Rush Township
