Emilio Beckett has two reasons to celebrate this summer. Emilio recently graduated from Marian Catholic High School and also has successfully completed the requirements for private pilot license. Emilio passed all phases of the exam three weeks ago. The FAA Exam has three areas of proficiency; oral, written and practical. The exam was taken at the Lehigh Valley Airport.

Emilio, 18, has been flying since he was 15 and soloed three days following his 16th birthday. Emilio' s Flight Instructor is Byron Arner. Byron Arner was recognized last year with the distinction of Master Pilot.Emilio has begun to attend Aviation Courses at the LCCC. He has extended his training with Byron Arner to pilot multiengine aircraft.Emilio resides in Mahoning Valley with his parents, Ed and Beth and his sister, Elena.
