Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, will hold Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost worship at 9 a.m., Aug. 11. A recap from the group of 19 youth and advisers on their recent post-Hurricane Sandy mission trip in New Jersey precedes the worship service. In addition, there will be a time set for feedback on "what makes worship important to you." Interim pastor Rev. Don Hayn presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.Trinity and other area Lutheran churches are participating at "Bike Night" on Aug. 10 by handing out bottled water and prayer shawls for free.The 2013 ELCA assembly "Always Being Made New" meets Aug. 12 in Pittsburgh. A total of 952 voting members from 65 synods and 9,638 congregations will serve on behalf of over 4 million baptized members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
