The Tamaqua Lions sponsored a successful bloodmobile on July 26. A total of 119 pints were collected, and 11 donors were deferred.

Hitting the one-gallon mark were Patricia Herring, Roxanne Farrell, Wayne Schickram, John C. Heisler and Richard Sassaman.Rhea Schuetrumpf reached the two-gallon mark and John P. Malarkey is up to seven gallons.
