United Way of Carbon County's sixth annual Cruise to the Music Festival & Car Show will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Jim Thorpe Memorial Park, rain or shine.

Admission is free.There will be live entertainment from 1 to 11 pm; music of all genres including Corey Wims, who hails from Philadelphia where he was born and raised. He has a very unique style such as a throwback to the raspy sounds of David Ruffin & Bobby Womack & Teddy P. as well as comparable to Tyrese & K.C.; The Mike William's Band Battle of the Genres/Dance & DJ's Choreographer; classic rock to current dance music of Night Train band; the return of jazz guitarist-musician Thad Tinsley Jr.; the Celtic Sounds of the Pocono Region Pipes & Drums; classic rock & roll & top-40 band Freefall; solo guitarist Kristopher Scherer; the return of the concert pianist and classical guitarist Don Slepian; the return of Pocono Mtn. R&B/soulful favorites Karen Meeks & the Soul followed by a return of event headliner and the Lehigh Valley's No. 1 party and cover band She Said Sunday.Anyone who has a car, truck, or other vehicle that they would like to display is welcome to do so after registering on the day of the event.Registration for the show will begin at 1 p.m. There is a registration fee.
