Drivers traveling both north and south on SR309 at the SR443 junction in West Penn Township were either stuck in traffic or forced to take another route for over six hours Thursday while PPL and Verizon crews worked in 90 degree temperatures to repair downed poles and lines caused by a raised boom truck.
