Event a prelude to annual St. Joseph's Parish Festival this weekend

Gary Clemson Jr., 44, and Megan Behnke, 26, were the top overall finishers during the 14th annual Two Saints Scamper held in Summit Hill Saturday morning.

The event, sponsored by St. Joseph's Church of Summit Hill, was a prelude event to the 79th Annual St. Joseph's Parish Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Fireworks are 10 p.m., Sunday.There were over 50 participants in this year's scamper, which is a 5k (3.1 mile) running and walking race.Chairing the event were Nathan Halenar and Kristen Halenar.Summit Hill Fire Police provided traffic control at various intersections. Also assisting was the Summit Hill Police Department.The results were as follows:Overall - Male, Gary Clemson Jr. (19:46); Female, Megan Behnke (22:28).14 and under - Male: 1.
