Tamaqua man to have bail hearing

A Tamaqua man was among seven persons facing criminal charges that received bail hearings before Senior Judge D. Michael Stine in Schuylkill County court.

Deborah Reedy, Ashland, had her bail set at $50,000 unsecured subject to special conditions including that she must reside at 818 N. Third St., Pottsville, and cannot relocate without court's permission, must not possess, transport, nor consume alcohol or illegal drugs, must submit to random urinalysis tests and attend all future court proceedings.Reedy faces charges of manufacture of illegal drugs as police claim they found ingredients for manufacturing methamphetamine in the basement of the home she occupied at 406 Cottage St.Joshua Michael Dewire, 24, of 66 Holland St., Tamaqua R.D., had his bail set at $5,000 percentage cash with special conditions including he must reside at his current address and cannnot relocate without court permission, must not possess, transport, nor consume alcohol and must stay away from establishments that serve primarily alcohol, must not possess or consume controlled substances unless prescribed by physician, and keep all future court dates.Dewire faces charges of burglary, simple assault, harassment, and public drunkenness.Christopher L. Collins, 24, Minersville, had his bail set at $25,000 unsecured with special conditions including he must reside at 321 N. Third St., Pottsville, and cannot relocate without court approval, must not possess, transport or consume alcohol nor controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, seek gainful employment, submit to random urinalysis, and attend all future court proceedings.Collins faces charges of delivery of a controlled substance in Minersville.Daniel Guida, 48, Shenandoah, had his bail set at $5,000 percentage and he must reside at 211 W. Lloyd St., Shenandoah, and cannot relocate without court permission, must undergo evaluation at Guadenzia House and follow up treatment as recommended, and attend all future court proceedings. Guida faces charges of burglary and criminal trespass on properties in Shenandoah.Matthew C. Lawton, 39, Pottsville, had his bail set at $35,000 unsecured with certain stipulations that he must rside at 154 Echo Lake Road, Greene, N.Y., and cannot change residence without court permission, must undergo mental health evaluation and follow up treatment and provide proof of evaluation to district attorney, and must attend all future court proceedings. Lawton faces a charge of disorderly conduct by performing pushups in a doctor's waiting room.James E. Dickson , 43, Philadelphia, had bail set at $25,000 unsecured with special conditions that he must reside at 1305 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadlephnia, and cannot relocate without court permission, must seek gainful employment, and keep all future court dates. He faces a charge of failing to register as a sexual offender.Cody Yergert, 44, Greeley, Colo., had his bail set at $25,000 straight cash and before release must provide Clerk of Courts with verification his address, must not possess, transport, nor consume alcohol or illegal drugs, and keep all future court proceedings. He faces a charge of theft from an Ashland food store.
