Palmerton Hospital Adult Day Services at Blue Mountain Health System will hold its Family Caregiver Support Group from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday July 24, at the Palmerton Health Center at 217 Franklin Ave. in Palmerton.

The support group centers on caregivers tending to family members with Alzheimers, stroke, dementia, Parkinsons, or other physical or mental disabilities. The group offers education and support from other caregivers who really do understand your daily obligations.Attendees are invited to share comments, suggestions and ideas to help support each other and nurture friendships while learning to cope with the 24 hour-a-day job that can be physically and emotionally exhausting to the caregiver.Meetings are free and open to the public.
