Combining science and art, students with the Tamaqua Community Center's Black Diamond Pottery Group worked together to hand craft a clay Scienctific Periodic Table of Elements via the groups weekly classes. The creative designer was Steven McDonald, right, assisted by Christian Roberts, center. At left is instructor Craig Bulger. "I enjoy science and was inspired to create the piece through my love of chemistry," said McDonald. "Each element has its own personality and reflects the mind of God."
