Those In Lawful Governments Are To Be Obedient Servants!

The individuals who established our States and Country by helping to produce our Declaration of Independence, the original State Constitutions, the original Constitution for the United States of America and the Bill of Rights were brilliant students of recorded history. They studied the rise and fall of ancient Greece, Rome, and many other civilizations. If you studied over 6,000 years of eye-witness documents of unfolding history, don't you think that you might learn a few of history's little known secrets? From their extensive historical research, they distilled dozens of history's lessons down to their fundamental essences. Because of the abuses that they were actually experiencing from the English government, they came to the revealing conclusion that: man's greatest enemy has always been his very own government.This revelation is shocking news, if you are hearing it for the first time, but it is an undeniable fact. Man's greatest enemy was never poverty, ignorance, disease or war. In fact, it was usually man's own government that caused those horrible conditions.Our Founding Fathers had the awesome responsibility to form both State governments and a federal government. They were inspired by one principle so fantastic and so revolutionary that no government had ever been based on it before. This glorious principle became, and remains to this day, the very essence of Americanism. This great secret was and is that: Rights come from God!Prior to this time, all rights came from the government. Sometimes the government was called the King where rights came from the King. Sometimes the government was called the Pharaoh where the rights came from the Pharaoh. Sometimes the government was an Emperor where the rights came from the Emperor. Sometimes the government was the Senate or Parliament where the rights came from the Senate or Parliament.Government actually is, always was and always will be, legalized force or power, nothing more, nothing less. A so-called government that passes laws, but has no police powers or armies to enforce them, is no government at all. Citizens could laugh and not obey a so-called government without the power to force Citizens to comply with its legislation, rules, codes, regulations, licenses, permits, court decisions, etc..To better understand the definition of government as legalized force, try thinking of it this way: Creating a government is similar to placing a loaded gun in someone else's hands and giving them permission to hold that gun to your head to make sure you obey the laws that they pass. Putting it another way: Government is force made legal. George Washington warned us about this by saying:"Government is not reason. It is not eloquence. It is force.Like fire. It is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."Since all previous governments granted rights to their Citizens, they could also take those rights away any time they wanted to do so; and they always did. This makes government the boss or the master.To explain this, Lord Acton coined the phrase: "Power corrupts; Absolute power, corrupts absolutely."This is why government has always been man's greatest enemy. The government was always pointing the gun at its Citizens.Our Founding Fathers discovered and proudly proclaimed the magnificent simple truth: Rights come from God. As they stated in the Declaration of Independence, the corner-stone of the State and federal Constitutions: "We are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."Since our Rights come from God, then what is the legitimate function of government? To answer this question, Thomas Jefferson added: "That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men." in the Declaration. So the proper function of government is to protect man's God-given rights, nothing more; nothing less, period! This concept is fundamental to the philosophy of Americanism.In other words, "We the People" retain all Rights. The government only has certain powers that we granted to them. This was a complete reversal from all governments prior to 1776. In Pennsylvania and in all of the other States in the Union and in the United States of America, the governments do not grant rights to the People. People, individually and collectively, maintain and hold all Rights. Here the People grant certain powers, duties and responsibilities to those in our governments.God grants rights to man, then man grants certain powers to government. This means that man is the legitimate boss or master of all lawful governments in Pennsylvania, the other republic States in the Union and the United States of America. This is the fundamental principle of law: The creator is always superior to the creation. Man should always be pointing the gun at government, not the other way around. The Pennsylvania Constitution states in Article I, Section 21:"The right of the citizen to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned."This same principle gave rise to the Second Article [Amendment] in the Bill of Rights of the federal Constitution where issues of the federal government are concerned.The government is the people in America. Those who work for the government, for you and me, are people also, so let's now address a self-evident principle of pure logic that our Founding Fathers clearly understood. That is: You cannot give away that which you do not have! This principle is universal. If I do not posses a power, I can't transfer or give that power to anyone else.Our Founding Fathers asked themselves what powers should those people that we allow to run our government for us have? What should we allow these newly created governments, both State and federal, be allowed to do?The principle of: You can't give what you do not have, clearly applies when answering these questions. Those in government have no power that you and/or I do not have.For example, individual humans possess, among other things, the God-given right to defend themselves from bodily harm. If an individual had to stand in front of his home every day with a baseball bat, knife, or a gun to defend himself, his family and his property, how could he work in order to support himself and his family? To solve this problem, people wisely form governments and grant those in government the authority to exercise their self-defense power for them. The people freely choose to elect a sheriff or constable to exercise their power to defend their lives, liberty, property and other rights. Police officers are hired by those in government to exercise these same powers that the people delegated to various governments. By doing this, individuals are free to do other work with peace of mind that their families and properties are protected. This grant of authority to act on our behalf is found in both the State Constitutions and the Constitution for the United States of America.Granting these powers to those that we allow to run our governments for us does not mean that we loose those powers or rights. They are unalienable God-given, constitutionally protected rights. Unalienable rights cannot be voted away, given away, or lawfully taken away from a natural person.In conclusion, those that we allow to run our governments for us can only lawfully do what we as the boss allow them to do as declared in either the State or federal Constitutions.These American principles of government have been lost and/or forgotten since the War Between the States. They must be relearned and re-applied to every law, rule, regulation, code, court decision, etc., made by those at all levels of the so-called governments in America today.Being free in our compound constitutional republics means that the people are the sovereigns and thus "We the People" can do anything, without government's (or anyone else's) permission, so long as what we do does not hurt someone else, damage someone else's property or violate someone else's rights. These are very broad restrictions. Freedom and liberty always requires grave responsibility!Remember, the Declaration of Independence states, among other things, that:"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life,Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. "All of those in lawful governments are to be obedient servants! We must always demand this.
