LINDA KOEHLER/TIMES NEWS Children of all ages can "Dig Into Reading" this summer at the Palmerton Area Library's Summer Reading Club. This K-1st grade group just heard volunteer reader Gayle Behr read the story "One Potato, Two Potato," and puppet mice, Rufus and Matilda, talk to the children about what they just heard. Afterward, they made little flower gardens with volunteers Lindsay Heinrich and Lisa Koller. The program runs until July 26. Preschool Circle time for ages 3-5 meets Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and the K-6 grades meet Fridays at 10:30 a.m. There will be no program on Thursday, July 4.
