According to police radio and dispatch communications via Schuylkill Communications, a man received over 40 lacerations to his body from an incident allegedly involving fireworks and a beer bottle just before 4 p.m. yesterday outside an East Water Street (US209) residence in Coaldale. Responding were Coaldale police, Tamaqua Ambulance and Lehighton Ambulance. No more information was available as of press time today.
