Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, will hold First Saturday of the month worship with Holy Communion at 5 p.m. July 6, with the Rev. Michael Frost, pastor of Zion's Stone Church, New Ringgold, presiding.Seventh Sunday after Pentecost worship with Holy Communion is at 9 a.m. July 7, with interim pastor, Rev. Donald Hayn presiding. The church is air-conditioned.A free Contemporary Christian music concert by Spokefolk will be presented at 7 p.m. July 7. Spokefolk is a faith-based group on a 12-day biking and music ministry tour. Trinity is among the stops.Twelve youth and four adults will be traveling to Toms River in Ocean County, N.J. during the week of July 8, offering post-Hurricane Sandy-type chores, assisting with ongoing relief efforts alongside other "Weekday Warriors" (the name the local residents give to those that provide hands-on assistance).The Barnstormers concert is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13. The members are from throughout the New England states. They give only three concerts per year. The 50-member choral group sings a mixture of oldies, pop, spiritual and patriotic tunes. Admission is free. Call the church at (610) 377-4303 for more information.Trinity's council vice president, Connie Kistler, and husband, Richard lost their Mahoning Township home June 19 in a fire. The "Kistler Family Fire Fund" has been established at KNBT/National Penn Bank inside the Giant grocery store, Mahoning Township. For those who desire to help the Kistler's, deposits may be made into this account; the last three digits are 950. Donations received at Trinity Lutheran Church for the Kistler's will be deposited into the account.Beltzville LionsBeltzville Lions will hold a covered dish dinner meeting at 6:30 Monday, July 8 at People's E.C.
