Bear Mountain Butterfly site of chamber mixer

Blue Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary, 18 Church Road, Jim Thorpe, is hosting a mixer for the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 18. Take a tour and visit live butterflies in the indoor Flutterarium where expertly trained docents will answer questions and amaze you with butterfly facts.

Mari Gruber (the Butterfly Lady) will speak at 6:30 p.m. and present a brief history of the Sanctuary and the Sanctuary Foundation, which will be followed by an entertaining mini butterfly program with a surprise ending. Light fair and beverages (including wine) will be provided. Bring business cards for networking.Door prizes will include a butterfly-themed gift basket, Asian mounted butterfly collection or free family pass for four for a return visit. Also bring any promotional material (rack cards or brochures) for your business that you might like to display at the Sanctuary.
