The title above sounds like a rock band. I wonder why no band ever chose to call themselves that name.I was so curious about the pitch of the Cicadas' sound that I got out my portable keyboard and found the sound was our E note.After reading an article in the TIMES NEWS edition on Saturday June 22, 2013 "Linda's Letters" - it said that Cicadas are tasty. I was thinking about contacting Paula Deen on the Food Network.Well anyway a few days ago I took my dog and a glass jar and wanted to pick some blueberries. There was one area these Cicadas were all around my dog and I. It seemed like we were in a Twilight Zone flick.Also in that article, I read that the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization was urging people to increase their consumption of insects to fight world hunger. I wonder if this had anything to do with when the government was debating to make some cuts to the 80 billion dollar food stamp program?Getting back to the blueberries, I decided to catch some Cicadas instead and top them on pizza in the oven but I dropped the glass jar and it broke on a rock in the woods.So later this week I'll go out and take a plastic container and if I don't find any I'll just have to wait another 17 years, unless it's a leap year.Sincerely,Larry ConsoliSummit Hill
